China's main export destinations for fresh fruits are Southeast Asia and Russia. The number of fresh apples exported to developed countries in Europe and the United States is relatively small. At the same time, countries around the world are gradually improving inspection and quarantine standards for agricultural products, thus raising the threshold for importing agricultural products. This has also become a major test for China’s apple exports. In 2023, my country's largest exporter of fresh apples is Indonesia, with exports reaching 156,000 tons, accounting for 20% of China's total fresh apple exports, followed by Vietnam, with exports of 145,000 tons, accounting for 18% of total exports.
